🐑 Care & Maintenance Guide
Sheepskin rugs are naturally low-maintenance thanks to a protective fiber barrier. Follow these steps to preserve its beauty for decades:
💨
Shake & Fluff: Give it a regular vigorous shake to restore fleece volume and natural softness.
🧹
Vacuuming: Use medium suction with standard nozzle attachment only (avoid rotating brush heads).
🪮
Grooming: Brush once monthly using a Sheepskin Rug Brush to align fibers and prevent matting.
⚠️ Important Notice for Dyed Hides: Avoid machine or hand washing, as water can damage the wool texture and leather pelt. Keep out of direct sunlight to prevent fading, and avoid placing on damp or light-colored surfaces to prevent potential color transfer.
To keep your natural hides, sheepskins, leather outerwear, and fur garments in pristine condition:
- General Maintenance: Shake out or air gently outdoors regularly to remove dust and restore natural loft or drape.
- Cleaning: Spot clean minor marks immediately using a damp cloth with cold water. Avoid harsh chemicals, machine washing, or full submersion.
- Drying & Storage: Always air dry naturally away from direct sun, radiators, or heat. Store outerwear on structured hangers in cool, breathable garment bags.
Every piece is carefully inspected and packaged before dispatch.
- Free Standard Delivery: Complimentary shipping on all orders.
- Estimated Delivery: Orders typically arrive within 2 weeks.
- 14-Day Returns: You have 14 days from receiving your item to request a return. Items must be unworn, unused, and in original packaging.
One-of-a-Kind Natural Piece
Because every hide is entirely natural, subtle variations in exact tone, pattern, and shape are intrinsic features that make your rug uniquely yours.
